Job Description:
Be an Ally; join our team! We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused licensed Associate Veterinarian. The candidate will need to be flexible as the practice grows and evolves. We expect a fast-paced environment, focused on patient care and client communication. No surgery or hospitalization will be done on site, but small outpatient procedures will be required. The candidate must be a team player, who is compassionate, organized, and highly motivated, with a positive attitude. Preference will be given to individuals with experience. A successful candidate must have strong communication and technical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed as a Veterinarian in Virginia (or willing to be!)
  • Ideally, have at least 1 year of experience, as most shifts will be solo.

Job Type: Flexible part time and full time options available to fit any schedule, including partial shift options, recurring weekly options or relief option.

Job description:
As a Client Care Representative, you will be responsible for one of the most important tasks at Ally—creating a positive first impression for the people we see and their pets. Whether a client is walking through our doors for the first time or connecting by phone, this first contact with Ally will set the tone for their entire clinical experience—and it must be professional, compassionate and exceptional. This means greeting and answering questions with care and empathy; adding clients to the waitlist; finding ways to help, even if the conversation doesn’t translate to a clinic visit; and ensuring our queue management software is kept organized and accurate so the workday flows smoothly. In this way, your job helps Ally maintain efficiency to help as many pets as possible!

It will also be important for the people we see to understand the nature of urgent care, from the conditions we treat and don’t treat, and where to refer them if their pet’s condition doesn’t meet these parameters. To this, you will have responsibility for maintaining points of contact with our referral hospital partners, owners in need of urgent care, and triage of cases. You will be directly supported by our dedicated hospital managers and technical support team.

  • Preference given to those with experience in veterinary triage
