Job Description:
Be an Ally; join our team! We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused licensed Associate Veterinarian. The candidate will need to be flexible as the practice grows and evolves. We expect a fast-paced environment, focused on patient care and client communication. No surgery or hospitalization will be done on site, but small outpatient procedures will be required. The candidate must be a team player, who is compassionate, organized, and highly motivated, with a positive attitude. Preference will be given to individuals with experience. A successful candidate must have strong communication and technical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed as a Veterinarian in Virginia (or willing to be!)
  • Ideally, have at least 1 year of experience, as most shifts will be solo.

Job Type: Flexible part time and full time options available to fit any schedule, including partial shift options, recurring weekly options or relief option.

Job Type: Full time – Evenings 4:30 – 10:30 p.m. and/or Weekends 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Schedule may change.

Job Pay: $25-30/hour

  • Able to maintain a controlled drug log
  • Able to assist in the management of inventory
  • Able to work under pressure, multitask and make educated decisions under stress
