Conditions we do treat at Ally Urgent Veterinary Care:
- Allergic reactions
- Bite wounds
- Constipation
- Consuming a foreign body (toy, rawhide, etc.)
- Coughing
- Cuts and abrasions
- Dehydration
- Diarrhea
- Ear infections
- Eye issues (discharge, redness, squinting, tearing)
- Fever
- Itchy skin, rashes, hives, swelling
- Loss of appetite or overeating
- Overgrown nails
- Pain or limping
- Pale gums
- Runny nose or sneezing
- Scooting
- Toxin ingestion
- Urinating blood or any urinary changes
- Vomiting
- Worms, fleas, ticks, or mites
- Wound treatment
- Your pet seems “off”
Our urgent care is not equipped to perform surgery nor hospitalize patients. If those services are necessary, care may need to be transferred to a local emergency hospital or referred back to your primary care veterinarian.
Please call ahead at 757-900-ALLY (2559) if you feel your pet’s condition may require surgery or hospitalization so we can help facilitate the best possible care for your pet.
Conditions we do not treat:
- Cardiac arrest
- Choking
- Collapse or loss of consciousness
- Distressed mother in labor or the inability to deliver kittens or puppies
- Excessive bleeding
- Fractures
- Heatstroke
- Paralysis
- Penetrating wounds
- Seizures
- Severe or persistent diarrhea or vomiting
- Stopped breathing
- Trauma or accident, such as falling or being hit by an object or car
